Dr. Beat Tödtli is a theoretical physicist with a background in elementary particle physics, relativistic quantum theory and computer algebra. In industry, he performed sensor data analysis and developed classification algorithms for bank note processing. At the Laboratory for Web Science, he works as a researcher in the context of recommender systems, complex networks, and machine learning.
